* Manufacturing process: Campeche wax will be evenly dispersed on the resin sculpture, this wax will serve as a glue and allow the beads to be easily placed on the surface.
The Huicholes or Wixárikas are an indigenous community that lives in the central west of the country of Mexico in the Sierra Madre Occidental, mainly in the states of Jalisco and Nayarit, as well as in some areas of Durango, Zacatecas and Oaxaca is a Mexican Folk Art
This is one of the few artistic processes in the world whose creation is invariably linked to a mystical sense in the indigenous art : the spirit as the raw material of art, and vice versa. Any piece in this group is based on experiences associated with the hikuri or peyote (Lophophora williamsii). From this interaction arise those colors and shapes that we observe in Wixárika art.
