In the center of the board you can see the “Stone of the sun” or also known as the “Aztec Calendar”. The gecas that can be seen on the 4 sides of the board simulate the architecture of the sacred temples of pre-Hispanic cultures in general and of the Aztec in particular. On top are 8 heads of Quetzalcóatl (feathered serpent) and 4 faces of Tlaloc (God of rain), two of the main deities for the Aztecs
